How the Free Score Is Calculated
The free Workflow Friction Score converts eight 1–5 ratings into a weighted 0–100 score. The eight dimensions are onboarding, sales handoff, process documentation, tool adoption, team alignment, client communication, reporting visibility, and continuous improvement.
The score combines your ratings into a screening indicator. It is not a direct measurement of operational performance, a financial estimate, or an independently validated benchmark.
What the Score Bands Mean
The current scoring engine maps 0–39 to at-risk, 40–59 to needs-work, 60–79 to solid, and 80–100 to optimized. These labels describe the assessment output; they are not external industry benchmarks.
How the Bottleneck Is Chosen
The free assessment suggests a lower-rated area to investigate. Tied ratings do not establish a unique weakness; the displayed area is one possible starting point. Check records and speak to participants before deciding what to change.
Free Score vs. Deeper Workflow Diagnostic
The free Workflow Friction Score and the deeper Workflow Inspector diagnostic answer different questions. The free score screens eight broad operational areas. The deeper diagnostic examines the structure of a specific workflow through Trigger & Completion, Systems & Actors, Friction Points, and Decision Rights. Do not interpret the four diagnostic areas as inputs to the free score.
How to Use the Result
Use the score and bottleneck as a starting point for investigation. Verify where work actually waits, repeats, loses context, or lacks clear ownership before changing the process. A score can prioritize where to look; the workflow itself provides the evidence for what to fix.
